The permanent placement process
The permanent placement process, i.e. how we proceed when undertaking a permanent placement, can be broken down into six different stages:
1.
Needs analysis
The temp manager and the client meet to draw up a job specification and a schedule for the assignment together. The personal meeting increases the understanding of the client’s needs and guarantees that the assignment will be successful.
2.
Matching
On the basis of the job specification, the temp manager advertises and looks for candidates for the assignment. Advertising takes place in media suitable for the assignment and in Maxkompetens’s own candidate database containing more than 20,000 candidates.
3.
Interview and checking of references
Candidates who are of interest are invited to structured interviews based on the job specification. All interviews are followed up by the checking of references from at least two referees. There is ongoing feedback to the client during the interview process.
4.
Presentation at the client’s premises
The candidates who best match the job specification are presented orally and in writing, and the client has the opportunity to meet them for a first interview. If necessary, Maxkompetens also conducts various kinds of personality tests, intelligence tests and practical tests.
5.
Choice of final candidate
After the first visit to the client, some form of test is usually conducted. Maxkompetens has the facility to conduct intelligence tests, personality tests, and practical tests. All tests employed by Maxkompetens are audited by STP (Swedish Foundation for Applied Psychology) and maintain a high level of validity.
6.
Follow-up
Maxkompetens liaises with the client and the temp on an ongoing basis to make sure that everyone is satisfied and that the assignment is working out successfully.
